“My name is Sydney Hurd and I am a freshman at Iowa State studying Agricultural Business and Animal Science. I graduated from Storm Lake St. Mary’s High School where I played basketball for 9 years. I was a varsity starter all four years in high school and achieved 1,000 career points my senior year. I am involved in intramural sports on campus to stay active and for the competitive aspect as well. I want to coach for Play 4 Him because I have a strong passion for basketball, and I am grounded in my faith. I want to help others be the best they can be at the game. I am very excited to help coach in the spring!”
