These two groups were champions this weekend in Ames. They both played some games that I left the court got in my car and still can’t believe what happened. The 8th grade team was down 32-9!!!!! They came back to win (after a nice talk 😉) 58-43.
Then in the Championship game beat a good team out of Kansas City 36-35

The 7th Grade had a lot of conflicts kids missing and new kids being thrown into a tough competitive situation. I have to be honest I didn’t think we were ready for some of the teams we were about to play. But boy did they prove me wrong. They never trailed in the two games they played today enroute to a championship!
